It will be hard to find something that will fit nicely in the zook because of the crap elevated mount for the drivers side seat. My advice is to chop that out and start fresh, either mount straight to the floor (as I did) or make some mounts out of some square tube and bolt to that, which will elevate the seats. It all depends on the rails the seats come with and how high you want the chair.

remember regulations with this also, in modding seat mounts need engineering i think.

Are they the ones with speakers in the headrests? They are nice to ride in

mate most aftermarket seats will fit. Just try and get narrow ones so your handbrake is still nice and free.
here are mine...

They are sitting on factory rails and I scored em for $400 the pair.

I bought a pair of daihatsu feroza buckets of ebay for $100 the pair, was cheap and they are very comfy (worth having a look on there, nice seats can be found for under $100). Sure beats the GTI seats for near $300. All I did was cut and bend the mounts back a bit with the oxy and bolted them to the floor :D .

i had sparco fixed back race seats in the mud4b, they have decent sized wings (shoulder protection) and never hit.

basically you need to keep the seat base small. this is where you have the problems.

I got a pair off ebay for $250, Not sure what brand they are but all they say on them is R1.

They bolted straight up to the existing rails also.

Cheers
Simon..

Hookers are like bowling balls, You pick them up, put your fingers in them, then throw them in the gutter and they come back for more.
