Congrats Mike
I have a 4month old daughter and I'm loving it. :D :D
The only downside is you should just empty your wallet now and cancell and plans your might have had for free time. There is no free time and I forgot what money looks like.
But I do love my little girl.

Thanks guys - really appreciate it.

Yep - this kid is definitely gonna get red dirt on it if it is isn't born covered in it already :D

Already got that empty wallet feeling - but the accessories keep on rolling in......for the pram, cot, nursery, car seat......none for the Surf though :bad-words:

Free time ??? what's that :D

Later - Mike H.

A good friend of mine now has land cruiser diffs (45 series I think) under his rocky ute.

It's doable, but you either need a big cheque book, or to be able to do a lot of good fabrication and mechanical work yourself (and even then it will cost at least 3k before you count your time spent on it)

Going lux diffs and SPOA, I think you'd have a very hard time finding an engineer to sign off on it. SPOA prolly gives you 5-6" of lift. And then your going to want to run bigger tires so there's another couple of inches height. Becomes a bit top heavy even with the slightly wider diffs

NOTE : NEW TOPIC STARTED

thanks for the info , i'm a mechanic and handy with a welder. I would just hate to do it all then the enginner says na mate cant do it. I measured up the spring purches (on my rocky and ln65 hilux) and there exactly the same width. That got me exited.literally i could just unbolt them off the hilux and fit em on but i'd worry about steering and sway bar etc . i'd love to know if someone had em fitted b4.

Here we have the first ARB mechanically made LOCKER for the rear diff.

Unfortunately we dont have any pictures on the diff section but the next member will post some pictures when he will fitted. After about 2 months no problem at all on the locker but the price was more or less than 1000 euros.
