Not sure if any of you have done this or seen this, but we were faced with a stubborn 44" Bogger on a crappy 15" rim and no strong source of air (my air tank was empty)...so we demounted the rim, wrapped the winch rope around the tire, clenched down and provided the weakish ARB compressor (old type) air...it reseated in a second, we released the winch as the tire filled up in order not to strain the weak compressor

In hindsight, we could have done the same proceedure on the tire without taking the rim off as there are no body panels on both trucks, but we didn't know better before demounting...

Seen it done before with a ratchet strap but im not quite sure that would suffice for 44" Bogger.....

we do that at work, especially on the 12x16.5 skidsteer tyres that are too stubborn to inflate.. but we wrap it with a strap and put a bar through it and start winding it in until it starts inflating.. just like a torniquet

works every time

Another one I've heard of is to put a bike tube with a bit of air in it between the outer rim seat and the tyre bead (has to be very close to rim size of course)
Then inflate the tyre but not enough to pinch the bike tube in tight, then deflate the bike tube and pull it out, the tyre should reseat.

Haven't ever tried it but sounds like it would work.

Yeah, done it a few times myself with ratchet straps. Prob wouldnt work with a 44 though. Good idea with the winch...

I tried the aerostart method using butane from camp stove you need to use stuff all but I have an engine driven compressor now so I'd give it a miss as it pretty risky

(but looks pretty cool :oops: )
