I brought a Brumby as a run around. Just wondering if there is an easy way to get a bit of extra height. Been told you can put blocks in the suspension.

BUGGERED IT'S A TOYOTA THING
Can easily build a 2" lift for under $100.00 for EA-81 based Subaru's.

and forgot:
With a 2" lift, you shouldn't need to do any trimming at the front, if you push both front wheel assemblies forward as far as they go by placing large nuts, spacers, or lots of washers on the end of the radius arms --- to basically push the wheels forward.
I didn't think of this at the time, and grabbed the angle grinder and cut most of the steel in front of the doors near the firewall to make my 27's fit nicely.
Looks bad though.
If you were to go with a 3" lift, 27's would clear nicely.
The rear should be fine at 2", unless you have 1/4 tonne in the back, then she might scrub out.

Brumby. No, tis not legal. Laws are only in place to be broken. Did that lift back in November/December 2004. But I still drove around the place for six weeks before getting caught by the RTA coz I didn't have an engineers certiicate. Only got caught because the RTA highway patrol and the Police highway patrol were doing a blitz on all vehicles in Leeton. If I had of stayed at home I would have gotten away with it. Got a $600.00 fine, a red sticker and had to tow it home.
