prado gps upgrade

hi all,
just popped in from the mitsi site to ask a question for my boss. he has a 120 prado grande and is looking to update the std gps software to the latest edition. toyota has quoted over $300.
does anybody know of a cheeper way? internet site etc to download software?
any help appreciated

I have done a few of these upgrades for customers and after spending hours on the phone to toyota, UBD and other mapping software places it became apparent that most vehicle manafactures use a different format for reading the software specifically so no other software can be used. UBD make the same software in various formats to supply to different manafacturers.

I'm not sure about the possibility of reusing a disc though. If you can find somebody willing to give you there update disc and see if it works more than once or if they are single use only!
