Massive Party Night to celebrate WE Rock Aussies in Vegas

Massive Party Night to celebrate WE Rock Aussies in Vegas
Club VooDoo, the best club in Vegas, has invited us to come and party on Thursday, Nov. 2. The club owner is a personal friend and said he would be planning a bikini contest, a special DJ out of New York, and some local talent for a little roving entertainment around what is a totally kickass indoor/outdoor club on the roof of the Rio Hotel and Casino. He was stoked to include us and said that the cover for that night was upped to $85 per person, but he'd invite a limited number of our group for free...I'm not sure HOW MANY, but I expect it'll be around 14.
Right now, the group is Becca, Dallas, me, Lil Rich, Deanna, Big Rich, Hammer...I need to know who else is coming...trust me, this club is something you won't forget!

Holy bejeez-us, there's a load of you guys comin over...
Alright, first off, so I don't hurt anyone's feelings I'll be straight...Sam and Tony are first in line for obvious reasons...even though Tony is a lightweight...
For the rest, it'll work like this...Drivers / spotters / and event volunteers are invited in line in front of friends/family and oh man, this is a $hitload of people to ask to get in for free...I can't even begin to ask for everyone so some people's feeling will get hurt...I hate that...
I'll get back to you...I want to do this for fairness AND fun but cannot strain my relations with this guy. If I ask for too much, it'll make me look bad.
The next thing is the tip...we've got to discuss that. It'll be at least $20 per person...they have, in the past, given us a special area all our own and reserved areas like they've given normally cost about a grand for a night PLUS the normal cover charge. Clubs like this don't offer any seating/tables/areas for their normal customers (more than a table-for-two strung out here and there) so these areas come at a premium. We've been blessed so far, but I've got to make sure he continues to offer these to me so we'll have to be sure to take care of his staff with some extra $. The size of the area and all will determine that amount, but I'd expect it to be $20-$35 per person plus you've got to buy all your drinks as they are not free. This place is worth it though, with one of the best views of Vegas from the Rio rooftop, a great atmosphere, and an amazing club in itself. I'll get back to you guys soon about this.
Finally, this is VERY important. Dress code is EVERYWHERE in Vegas nightclubs...No T-shirts, no jeans, no sneakers...that means "Dress-Party" is what you must be ready for. Even if you just plan on walking down the strip for a bit of sightseeing, you never know when you'll get invited in to a club, so be prepared and dress properly for an evening of fun, even if you have no plans.
Collared shirt, Slacks for the guys, Slacks/skirt/dress for the girls, Dress shoes or dress boots, NOT hiking boots, NOT tennis shoes...you should get the idea here...
There are no exceptions so if you show up in anything else, expect to be told to "get lost".
Next, the nights are cold so bring a dress jacket or dressy sweater. When the wind picks up in the evenings, it's clear skies but in the mid 40's (F) after 8pm...be ready for that. In the daytime, the weather varies but you're always good in light pants and shirt...even when the sun is full-on, this time of year can settle in around 70 degrees (F)...sometmes dropping into the 50's / 60's with just the wind picking up. It harly ever breaks into the 80's this time of year.
Also, MOST clubs do not allow hats of any kind. I get into a couple with my Akubra, but the majority of the time, they say NO HATS, even dress hats.

It was pretty off-the-hook and we were well taken care of including a private seating area right on the edge of the top of the RIO with the best view in Vegas, looking out over the strip and looking straight up the skirts of the Go Go dancers That particular area rents out for $1100 per night minimum...
I went inside to thank the club owner and found him seated at a table with numerous rock and roll stars and while leaving, I ran across Prince who was there partying in another private area, plus all of the television cameras for some other reality TV show with a hot chick emcee...that's the kind of place this is. Was a great time for sure and I was sorry everyone couldn't make it out.
