If youre looking for a 35 then you wont beat the Simex ET in the mud. In the mud event during the weekend there was some boggers, swampers and simex. The simex definately worked the best !!
Agreed as you will have better lateral grip from the ET over the Bogger. Bogger's need Mumbo and lotsa it. Canadian's who run 44's on there swamp rigs like to run 500+ ponies to get em to work at there best. I think this achieves more of a aquaplane effect anyway.
Last doesn't matter how good the trye is if the Mud Hole is DEEP you will get stuck.
ET's are better priced as well.

extremes around $380 per 35... Theres an article in the club mag done on JT2's and they were up Labertouche I think and up in the snow, got rave review.
Got a price today on some 35 claws from a mate who works for a dealer, shows what the true mark up is, and its f ucking CRAZY!

if all you are doing is mud work, then look at the mud racing sites, they dont use Simexs either...

Tractor tyres are cheap too, but drive like crap We had them on our mud racers... $80 for a 33" or 105 for 34" (with rims)
I found the Q78 Swampers worked really well on a Patrol... or Simex ET... both are good, each has a few +'s and -'s

A tyre not yet mentioned is the MONGREL must people run like heck when they discover they are monoform Re-treds ( retred from rim to rim )
Tredpattern is simular to a Centipead my 33x12.5 are un-stoppable in mud but not so good on rocks altho they are being used in the Extreame Winch Challenge

That had more to do with the fact that he was diffing out in the middle. From memory I drove up quite easily without much throttle. SAM
You are right. That rut wasn't friendly to 33s or smaller. I was right behind you as you were going up and you did it easy. The same tyres on a heavier rig would have found the going harder though.

The avaliable power etc has alot to do with the way a tyre performs as well .. On one hill a guy with a 383 powered 40 series ute almost bald 36 swampers, rear locker spanked a full locked dudlux with his firebreathing 2.8 heavily boosted motor pulling new 36 boggers .. he just could not make enuff wheel speed .. then a Zuk on 33 boggers and a smoke blowing 1.3 made em all look silly

I know a bloke who had 35 radial claws on a 75 series and he did not like em. Noisy and wear quickly (only one persons opinion however!)
I reckon by looking at them they would be a pretty good muddy for sure but if there was not a HUGE difference in price between them and the bias claw I would go the bias every time
