recovery point on a Hilux

Post by tumoit »

My lux has no dedicated recovery points on it.

the strongest mount I can see is the bracket between the leaf and the chassis (spring hanger?).

is this an advisable point to use? can it take much snatching pressure?

NO DON'T USE IT

Go to 4wd shop and buy a good recovery hook or 4 and bolt them to your chassis or if you don't have the no-how then they will do it for minimal charge.
