"Feroza Snorkel" on eBay?

Post by Fearhoza »

Says it was bought to fit a Feroza? Looks like the brand is AIRFLOW.

Anyone know anything about it? Pickup only in sydney :(

I was gonna keep it hush hush :D

I think the Rocky and Fez would be fairly similar in shape... the guards and pillars look to be the same shapes... so maybe a goer

Doesn't it need some other parts as well, like the bits that connect it to the air filter also, and span the gap between engine bay outer wall and front quarter guard?

If a Rocky snorkel can be made to fit please let me know....
Don't care about under the bonnet - not much is standard there so would have to make bits anyway.

That is probably an MQ Patrol snorkel.

Apparently its a fairly close fit to a Rocky up to 1992 models (live axle front).
It might also fit the Feroza. :?
Dont expect mere proof to sway my opinion.

damm, i was hoping no one would notice it.

From some research it seems the airflow brand do not sit very well on the car. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of this? specifically a Feroza.

Im in Sydney so maybe i can organise a test fit to see how well it sits.

On another note, do you think fitting a snorkel lowers the resale value?

I am doubting it. The Ferozas windscreen is raked back further and also has a lower roofline in comparison from the top of the guard. Not to mention the guard slopes down quicker along with being a shoirter guard. So if it is an MQ Snorkel it would really look like arse on a Feroza. Would fit neatly on a Rocky though.

i asked the seller what the fit was like and where he was located in sydney so i can have a look, he replies " didnt you read my ad, i didnt have it on my car". I did actually read it, i would have assumed he test fitted it before buying it.

no mention of where in sydney he is, so i asked again, no response yet.
Rude seller, i wont be giving him my money.

Please till me the poor sucker wasn't on from this board :?:  :?

Staino would have cost the same if not less and be so much nicer.

EDIT: Just looked, winning bidders name is 'numbnuts' ... how appropriate :D
