hey keen on your nissan was just wondering wat reserve price you have on itand if there is any damage on the chassis or drive line thanks

A: i have no reserve.the car was hit from behind while parked by another 4wd.the roof has a slight bend in it if you look at the photos.it has not been inspected by a professional .my friend told me that once the roof is bent it is most likely the chassis is also bent.

how true can that be of the chassies being bent?

I had an old hyundai excel that got hit from behind, roof was bent but hardly noticeable (ie; no where near as bad as this ebay one) but its chassis was bent.

Having said that a Troll's 9999999x stronger so you never know best to jump under it and look :?

chassis could be perfect undereanth still

failing that, stick a ute cab on it and chop the bent end of the chassis off :finger:

It didn't take me much effort to bend an 80 series chassis offroad so it's possible the GQ could have a slight bend or twist coupla mm's

I'd chop it into a comp 4wd ;)

looking at that and comparing it to the accident i had...

the chassis is almost garuntee'd to be bent/diamond shaped, this did get fixed for around $650 going by the ins. invoice

yes you could chop it to a ute

Yep ute chop for sure... Rear end chassis damage isn't too bad anyway, quite repairable.

Go chop chop!

It should be fine mate. We repair plenty of cars and 4wds that are hit harder than that. Even if the chassis is bent it's not hard to straighten in a smash shop.

If you buy it take it to a smash repair shop first and get it put on a car alligner to straighten the body a bit first and check that the chassis is straight also. They all have gear that can get it straight right down to the millimetre.

If it's not all aligned first then it wont matter how much you chop it, it will still be bent and wont drive properly.

Cheers Mick.
