On the top of the reciever/drier for the a/c unit is a switch or a sender? that has 4 wires coming out of it.
2 wires are black/green stripe and the other 2 are blue with a 2 pin connector.
Only thing is the connector with the blue wires isn't connected to anything and I cant find the mating one in the vicinity.
The air conditioner works well and I've only had the GQ a couple of weeks so I dont know the story with the wires.
I did a search but nothing
Its a 1989 GQ 4.2 deisel with aftermarket turbo.
cheers, sudso

it also comes on when the engine coolant temp gets high.Woop wrote:There is a second pressure switch on top of the receiver drier to activate the small electric fan in front of the condenser. It only comes on if the refrigerant gets to a high enough pressure (hot day!).
