Hi guys im new here, well not really, i have been a passive observer for a good 5 months now but have not needed to post any thing as the bible and
a GOOD search has covered it (sus lift, tyres, difflocks etc).
However i am interested to hear from people with 'of the shelf' bodylifts for their vitara as that is my next mod but i cant seem to find any brand comparasons or any right ups on what may be good/bad with a specific brand.
Any help would be good thanks.

off the shelf kits include all the stuff you need to buy without the headache, other option is to buy the options of alloy, poly or allouy sleeved poly blocks and getting the bolts etc from someone like coventry, or you can machine your own if you have the knowledge and equipment.
as far as kirts go, the only real difference is in the blocks, and for my $$ I woulnd bother making my own as I would have to call on to many favours to get the stuff made, and get them at the right price anyway

If the above post did not offend you in any way please PM me so I can try harder!!
I made my own poly spacers as the material was at hand
Bolts tend to be expensive as the are long, high grade (tensile) and a metric fine thread (read special order)
My local supplier laughs at the 4by guys when their jaw hits the counter
That siad this not an area to skimp on, so a kit might be a better option
Dont forget to take the other thing into account like:
Brake lines may need to be lengthened
Hand brake cable as above
Spedo cable may no longer reach
Steering colum may need a spacer
Some trucks require the opening in the trans tunnel to be enlarged
If a bull bar is fitted this will need to raise the same as the body or the head light may be blocked
There are alot of small things to consider
