magellan fx324 info/newer model replacement, please help!

Post by mud80 »

Hi all,
Am stuck, As i have been offered a magellan fx324 gps unit and it is at a good price($800 with books box and aerial). The thing i am stuck on is that i know they have been discontinued but dont know of any info on the replacement unit. i know the fx324 unit is the shzit but dont want to get it an then find out in 6 months i should have held off.

The way it has been explained to me was "its like paying for a gq or 80 in the year 2006, you know they will work, an work well but are just getin older".

please if anyone could help it would be great.
cheers :P

They were discontinued a good while ago (about 2 years from memory).

There has not been a replacement with similar features (large screen and keypad) from Magellan.
