Bundera Diff Ratios

Post by glycerin »

Hey People,

Just have a question and I searched the forum but couldnt really find anything.

I have 4.53 in my 88 Petrol Bundy and I am wanting to put 35" muddies on and want to change the diff ratios to something more suitable. What is avalible for these centres and what ratio would you recomend?

Now I beleive the running gear in the bundy is of Hilux nature but the diffs are high pinion, can I use parts out of Hilux centres to change the ratio?

Cheers
Lonnie

I think you can get 4.88's to compensate for the bigger tyres....all lux 4 cyl petrols had this ratio, the problem will be getting a front one, as 4.88 high pinion is hard to find....about thesame strength as what you have now, put air lockers in them and they become stronger, especially the front...
