I have a shot engine in my NF 1988 Pajero I have found a MITSUBISHI MAGNA 3.0 V6 ENGINE AND AUTO! This engine is a 6g72 the same as in my pajero. my question is! s the bell housing the same patten what trouble will I find if I try to nstall this engine in my car

I'm not 100% sure on this topic...
BUT I've read a few other posts that mention buying the Magna engine and swapping all the good bits (various pumps, dizzy etc..) is the cheap way out of a new Pajero engine, which would mean the bellhousing pattern is the same.

yes u can use the magna motor but u will need to strip it down to a bear block and then reuse all your pajero parts sump,manifolds.

Yes 100% sure, you have to use all the components to make it rear wheel drive, bellhousing is the same
Montero 98, Gen2, Leaf sprung, 5sp man, 3.0 lt 12 valve, 4.625 gears, 1.925 T-case, custom snorkel, custom bull bar, custom shackels, add a leaves, 2inch lift, CB radio, 32x11.50 Pirelli AT.
