Light Comparison
I was wondering if there is any light out there that is cheaper but comparable to the LightForce 170
Kind Regards,
Brad

The Nitestalker 'Roo Lite' is basically a copy of a LF170.

I still think you get what you pay for, like everything.

yeh theres the roo lights and also procomp has bought out a new light range including some big spotties which look very similar to the LF too so maybe worth a look. I think the 200 size was $200 per light. But personally I'm inclined to agree with hotfourok...you prob get what you pay for.

Went out with a guy with those roo lites the other night and they went awsome said they goo up to 700 meters or something but he had them set at about 100-150 meters and it was like day time againHotFourOk wrote:The Nitestalker 'Roo Lite' is basically a copy of a LF170.

NOt sure what the light force ones are like but the roo lites went pretty good!
Built swb sierra, building a lwb sierra ute and have a dmax for family camping
I read an article I think in 4wd monthly talking about the procomp lights and from what I read they where better in all ways than the LF, (distance brightness price and strength) so when i got new spotties it was what I'm going to try, but for now i have 140w h4's for high beam in head lights that work a treat, my 100w narvas cant compete hardly even use them I found a 140w h3 globe to trial in them soon, I'll post how it goes for interest.

The reflecter quality on these is no where near that of LF. Just have alook at the two side by side.HotFourOk wrote:The Nitestalker 'Roo Lite' is basically a copy of a LF170.

How this affects the light quality I dont know. But would be interested to read a comparision.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....

second hand 170's.. apart from that, save your money until you can afford 170'sLuxyBoy wrote:I was wondering if there is any light out there that is cheaper but comparable to the LightForce 170
Im here for the sausage!
4wd monthly did a big comparo a yr or 2 ago.. probably 2 yrs..
and the lightforce was at the time the best.
but the nite stalker wasnt far behind and value for money wise Nitestalker kicked its a$$.
i bought some nitestalkers and im happy.
I use them what once a month at most, if they got busted or stolen replacement isnt that much.
Personally i think the money can be better spent elsewhere, unless your using them quite often.

I have some NANEs and they aslo kick a$$ for value for money.
I have tested mine with some rally 2000 and they were almost the same, rallyes had a more defined pin beam but not worth the $$ in difference.
