Question regarding instrument cluster in 95 Hilux Ln106

Post by trains »

Hi chaps.

I have a question regarding guages.
I have the standard tac, temp, fuel guage dash. however it has the cut outs for 2 other guages, oil press, and volts.
I assume the Sr5 came out with them standard.
The question is, would my instrument cluster, have the wiring in place for the guages to be added to it, and thus pop out the blanks, and fit the guages, or were the clusters made specific for each model??

I realise I would need a different oil pressure sender unit for the guage compared to my current idiot light.

Cheers

Everything is there on the circuit board for them. For the volts it is as easy as bolting it in place.

How ever its possibly just as easy to get a complete cluster from the wreckers
