mate i'm on to my 3rd auto helmet it's a miller elite couldn't be happier, had a boc one that died, then a speedglass that i felt was not good enough as my eyes were always red/ sore etc always hopeless around corners. ask around before you buy to make sure its a good one, the guys in the shop don't even weld most of the time so don't rely on them.

cheers bru

also its not just the lens, miller stays flipped up until you pull it down (speedglass etc falls just before you have lined up something - so often you want to kill something), adjustable sensitivity only available on the dear speedglass, 4 arc sensors etc etc

I have used a few of the good helmets and seriously the cheap one that I bought from Bunnings $148 is with out doubt the best I have used.

I currently have a Dominator VI auto darkening helmet, pretty good helmet paid a little over $400 from memory. The lens etc aren't badly priced which is a bonus.

ok i talked to a few tool shops and the migomag helmets run the same lenses as the standard miller elite series helmets, i have tested both and they seem to be identicle some of the miller elete's have a bigger lense but the main difference between the 2 is the graphics you pay the extra for the name and pictures on the helmet
