How to lift a Rangie?

Post by CROver »

Hello to all,

I want to lift my Rangie but I dont't want to spend some money for longer springs:D
So,is it wise to cut off the spring hangers from chassis and weld them down bellow for couple of inches/12 cm??Is it to much for cardan,UJ's??
I didn't see any other doing something like this ,and probably so this isn't a smartest question on this forum but I still need some tips.

thanks for any reply

cheers from Croatia

Move the rear coils to the front and then get new longer rears or another rear set and spacers for a budget lift.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.
