What UHF Channel you use SEQ?
Yep basically that trying to get an idea of what channel's businesses/clubs/groups etc. use frequently in the South-East Queensland / Northern NSW regions.
Any help is very much appreciated... our clubs been running 33 since we formed but obviously (well not obvious at the time
) being a repeater station we shouldn't so want to find another free station with little traffic on it

-Scott-, he holds the licence (from ACMA) to operate the repeater. I think the licence is about $500 to set up and then about $100 per year to renew. Owners change from time to time and the price for a fully operational repeater + licence can vary from a few thousand to a few ten thousand.
HiluxDave, the emergency channel is 5/35. They used to be in range of capitol cities but there has been a change in recent years (due to mobile phones) and ch 5 repeaters are now mostly found in rural areas where there is little or no mobile phone range.
