Someone help, immovable welsh plug

Post by mrx78u »

I've got a welsh plug which won't budge from the exhaust side of my engine under the extractors. It's pretty bloody big, and needs to be removed due to a light leak.

I've tried knocking a hole in it and levering it out, and tried to punch it in from the rim, but she won't bloody budge!

Any tips anyone? please

Ay aerosol can at close range will cool it down a little bit, so grab your can of aerogard and get to work.

Try the spray on burn cooler stuff you get to put on burns, cums out of the can F@#%*n cold. Heat the aera with a gas torch first, then cool the plug, then hit it.

Used this stuff to get a stuck and pre rounded sump plug outa a Perkins diesel sump in the padock on day, suprised how much diferance it made.
