FX324 base map

Post by bundyrum4x4 »

I remember RoldIT posted up instructions on how to upload the australian base map onto inported units.

I have the base map on a memory card, just cannot remember how to install it.

Anyone help?

And i did do a search first!

For the benefit of others ...
Copy basemap file to SD card and rename/name file basemap.img

With the unit off, put the SD card in the slot

Hold down the NAV button while turning unit on

Use cursors to change 00 to 86, press enter

Follow on screen instructions to replace basemap in the unit

Haven't done this process in ages but from my notes it's pretty easy and straight forward.
