80s bushes into GQ arms

Post by sudso »

I read somewhere on here that 80 series radius arm bushes flex better than GQ ones and that they fit exactly in GQ arms.

Can anyone confirm this/done this?

Cheers, sudso

No.
For some reason bundera bush size is 2mm larger in diameter than 80/100 GQ/GU bushes.

I sleeved my arms so I could use the 80's bushes.

YES! the outer sleeve of factory bundera bushes is 1mm thick. you can sleeve the 80 series bushes with the original bundera outer sleeves.

easiest way is to press out the bundera bushes, throw them in the BBQ to bunr the rubber off completely, then press the new bushes into the sleeves, then press the whole lot into the control arms.

cheers
