Same, but its a tight fit in an 80 ARB bar too. I would also recommend running an air line to it to help keep the mud and water out.

The motors bloody good, thats why every comp truck in the country runs one on their highmounts! The winch body is the same proven warn design for a low mount, good winch but more $$ than most, depends on your usage and preference.

I've got one on the fat GU & if it can pull me out of some of those bog holes we drove (winched ) @ the Otways or Wombat , I'm sure you won't have any probs with the lux.

See Andrew @ On Track 4x4 in Keilor. He offered me the best deal around by far....

Go for highmount with 6hp, you won't know yourself.

has any one thought of useing a9.5xp on a comp truck the line speed when under load seems to be close to the highmount speed unless ive been misled

they are very close but the problem ive seen is you cant hump 125 feet of plasma onto an XP without worrying about it bunching & snagging, with a high mount you can throw it on as fast as it will wind in & not have to worry about how it lies

But it's the no load speed that kills it.
I used to have a 20yearold Himount and swapped it for an Xp9.5......
The P has proven to be a good winch - BUT I miss my 8274 :(
