can anyone tell me if getting around 400ks about town & 500ks on the h/way is normal for a 93 paj auto 3lt motor thanks.

I'm getting about that in my manual shorty with 31" MTR's.

Sounds a little on the high side, worse if you're talking long wheelbase model - they have a 92 litre tank vs 75 litre in the shorty.

LWB, on the highway, around 100km/h, without roofracks or trailer - I'd expect closer to 700km to dead empty. Shorty under those conditions, 500km would be about right.

When you fill, how much does it take? Some people fill at 1/4 on the gauge, others wait for the light. My mother won't go below 1/3 on her gauge - doesn't want to "suck the sediment from the bottom of the tank." :roll: She doesn't listen... :lol:

yeah that sounds about what i'd be getting in my SWB NH 3Lv6(man) about 400km's in town and about 450-500 on the open road. I've got no r/racks but am lifted and on 33's

thanks guys i thought it was sucking to much fuel its a lwb running 265x70 all round. i did have a 88lwb paj witch had better fuel ecom than this shame it had to go :cry:
