34x12 legal on an 16x8

Post by bogged »

I have an Interco Truxs 34x12.5x16 in the car, and stamped on it is FOR RIM SIZE 8 INCH. So there is another option for a bigger than 33.

They look better in life than the photos do by a million miles. Shame they are VERY HEAVY for a 34 is lots heavier than a 315x75x16 Xterrain, but could be the rims they are on...

Now wheres my Lotto ticket for another 4 of them.

if you are talking about these the site states that the require a 16x8.5 to a 16x10, either there is a typo somewhere, or there is something going on that we cant know about

Just went and checked it, yes 15x8 on the sidewall. See if any of the photos came out.

Looks like 8.5 to mee too. The "J" referes to the profile of the surfact that is covered by the tyre when fitted and the bead.

J is the ISO one. You can also get K, L, LB, E and F profiles.
