front end Question

i got a prob with the steering on the GQ as ya driving along all of a sudden it might pull to one side or the other, there is play in the steering wheel 1 inch - 2 inch, i do know that the driver side front wheel bearings is slighly lose i can move the the wheel 2mm up and down

any help mucg apprecitated

Thats a fair bit of free play you got there, I'd be getting all that checked out, swivel hub bearings too.

Steering box etc.
Get someone to winggle the steering wheel as you look at all of the front end.
93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)

if the car is raised , also check the panhard rod bushes front and rear. but tighten those wheel bearings up . better get used tightening up the left one they come loose pretty often .

yeah on a 2 inch lift

i replace the pan hard bushes early this year, i have tryed to open the manual locking hub thing but iv bent 2x allen keys

buy a 8mm hex socket and use a breaker bar.
