Bobby Long breaks Rover CV/Axel

Post by Micka »

As part of testing the new Longtracks CVs/Axels that are soon to be released, Bobby Long - Longfield Super Axels - put some stock Rover CVs/Axels into his breaking machine. The inner axel and inner race broke at 3000 foot pounds of torque  That is way off the mark of Toyota stock axels/CVs which break at around 4000 foot pound of torque.

These new Longtracks should be similar to the 27 spline Longfields in strength, so look forward to having over twice the strength of Rover shite

When I get a chance I am going to pull some series U jointed axles and send to Bobby throught Keith at Rovertracks. I just haven't had a chance yet. Anyone care to bet on how many foot Lbs they are good for? ;)
