Nissan Newbie :)

Post by Cruzer! »

Gday all, as owner of 5 crusiers over the last couple of years i've always had fun heaping on the old datto's, but... on the weekend the missus and me went looking for a car to replace her tired old excel, we wanted sometihng for some light weight beach trips/forestry/dirt road driving, and her demands were A/C, P/S etc etc.. anyways the best car for the job turned out to be a bloody Nissan :)

So we picked up a 97 TI Pathfinder, done 150K, just a nice clean car, full options etc, she loves it, and i can't find to much wrong with it.. doh!

So, need some help.. any common faults/problems that i should look for or monitor before the car runs out of its stat warranty (1month 1000km, genorous hey :) ) i'm a mechanic so i'll check it all on a hoist at work but if anyone knows of anyhting for me to test then i appreciate knowing about it :)

Also, has anyone upgraded the auto cooler on a Pathy? This one has the 2000kg tow pack, and might pull a horse around, and i wouldnt mind putting on something a bit more substantial than that little thing that is supposed to be an oil cooler!

Thanks all

Ben!
