interchangable grill/headlights feroza???

I am building a feroza ute comp rig,can anyone tell me
are the grills & headlights interchangerable between
the older & newer shape,i prefer the newer more angled
shape,& at fist glance, there dosntseem to be much
difference in the grill area size...

The grill point where they are bolt and clips are the same but the headlights want feet with an old grill you must find a new grill. But dont think that the light vision would be better they are the same but the headlights have a different disign just to look nicer.

tks heaps for your advice,i'm not concerned abaut the
vision factor,(have plenty of lightforce HID,& spots for that)
I just like the bling bling factor of the newer grill & lights..
I will start adding the build up of the new pig,on pigletracing
page, with removal of the scat ute cab, & modifing the feroza
into a ute cab toput in its place..

He is just putting a Feroza body on his monster that he already has

It had a Rocky body on it, and he rolled it recently... trying for something different now

yeah im all exited,but a lot of work to do before the
cab go's near the chassis..the cab go's to Skidys this week
where our little boy genious in the electric dpt is making
all new wiring harness for his toys & re wirering the whole
lot from scratch,then it go's on a weight loss program
by 9" grinder ect ect..but 1st the pig chassis has to be
straightened/laminated, same with front & rear diff housings
she realy got floged last rollover..will ask skidy to start
adding pic's of build up to pigletracing page..

I reckon the older grilles look better. I'm not a fan of the crappy fake chrome look of the later model grilles.

Yeah be me to i like the ones tha where coming in 1991 models with the daihatsu on the center of the grill. Also the back bumper is much smaller and better for offroading (better angle for avoiding objects).

The older style is cheaper to replace headlights when they break also

any feroza grill up to about '93 will fit with the unversial headlight, such as older hilux, hi ace, old holden rodeo headlights, they're all pretty much the same except for when they decided to change the looks on their cars.

I could swap easily over the headlight from holden drover (suzuki sierra with rectangle headlights) to my feroza coz they're pretty unverisal.

i think i got 89 grill ready to fit on to my feroza after smashing it into tree one wet nite so pretty much all bolt on or clip on is the same

after late 93?? or early 94, they're all different. bigger headlight, smaller grill different front lower panel.

tks the new pig cab is a 92 feroza snow pak..thinking of
cuting the rear f/glass top down & the metal back as well
with afew mods, then weld,& fill to turn into a ute cab..
I cant get over how much more room the cab has compared
to a f55p scat ute cab..

the one i have has electric,& i dont want to run the risk in a comp
truck,(be just my luck to be up to the door handels in water,cant
open the windows ,so have to open the door)

yes there are mechanical/manual window winders... i think... maybe the sp/ sxp models has electric window, mirrors... i think u'd have better luck with other model .....i'm not so sure but yep, there are manual window winders in feroza.

I got the SXP model.. electric window.... electric mirrors... but damn fuses blows sometime.....

The bottom of the range Feroza narrow track was a DX - they had manual window winders. After the front end change I think it was the CXi that had manual winders.

My 1990 F300 EL II Narrow track Feroza ( well it was narrow ) has manual wind up windows.

And I not unhappy with them - electric window winders don't swim very well.

They were the "luxury" model like my ELIII (92 model) which has got electric windows, power steering, central locking, carpet, electric mirrors, flares, rear window wiper, velour seats, arm rests on the doors etc. I saw a F300 DX once and was shocked at the difference- it was like comparing a Calais to a Commodore Executive.

Yeah, the Feroza II widetracks seem to be kitted out better in the creature comforts department in general.

Less electrics the better when 4x4ing

I also have ELII and its only has power steering and rear window wiper. Its weird because here in GREECE we only have the the first version of FEROZA with power windows (some of them) and we dont have the widetrack but some times i have seen the BERTONE version of FEROZA called FREECLIMBER.

My ELIII is a narrow track, but still has all those bits. Looks like the ELIII might have been the first model with power windows then?
