Hi there all I just recently inherited a 85 model SWB Paj and I want to raise it as high as i can....how hard is it to wind the t bars up a bit? Iknow I'll only get a little lift but anything would be an improvement. Also it has F all flex, is this normal for these old beasts ( leaf rear and IFS front) not the best combo I know. Any way its not going on the road again so I just want to turn it into a farm buggy and if possible fit some spare 35's....am I dreaming? p.s I not shy with the ol grinder

I think 33s will be easy enough with the help of a grinder - not sure about 35s, but there's only one way to find out.
It's not hard to wind the torsion bars - it affects the wheel alignment, which can be corrected by adding shims. On the farm, you probably don't care.
Identify the upper and lower suspension stops - if you wind too far you'll lose too much droop travel, so suspension can't drop into pot-holes and the ride becomes harsh.
I'd suggest you junk your sway bar(s?) and disassemble, clean and grease your rear spring packs. Check your shockabsorbers - I found new shocks made a significant improvement in ride quality.
