IN SKIRT DRIVING LIGHTS
Calm down there is no need to yell. Deep breath, in through the nose out through the month. Close your eyes and count to ten.
Have you seen other Vitaras with this set up, yes. Go to a wrecker and have a look at a few. Get on your back and have a look under your skirt (hehe been in trouble for looking under skirts hehe) you may have the required brackets or at least mounting points for them. Most car companys don't like changes to production runs so you'll probably have all that is required less the lights and switches if these were an option on your car.

vitara driving lights
Eric, I feel your pain. I have been trying to research the same thing for my wife's 2000 Grand Vitara. It seems that not many people really have much info. I spoke to a Suzuki mechanic and it seems that there is a factory kit but the price is out of control (over $400) compared to a Narva kit of similar dimensions for under $200. The lights mount where you think but you have to cut out the holes. The factory kit has all the bits required including the switch that fits in the dash hole. There are three securing points behind the bumper for the factory kit to mount. However i don't think the wiring harness is ready for them so you may have to wire them up with a regulator etc. The aftermarket kits brackets don't look like they come close, so you would probably have to modify them to fit. I suppose its of to the wreckers for us to get second hand bits although i have not seen to many vitaras around that age with them already fitted. hope this helps.
Why do you want in skirt driving lights?
You would be better in $$ and performance with a good set of spot lights on a small auger light bar even and wire them up as any spotlights are done inderpendant of the main harness.
I have made my own light bar for my 2wd proton and that has seen some v/nasty dirt and rough roads, they are great on there and the lights that i have are the NANEs are only 120 a set and as good as hella rallye 2000's (tested)
I can post a pic if u want
