2h bell housings

Post by cruiser60series »

I have a FJ62 that had a 2H with 5 speed transmission put in before i bought it. Now when i was looking to put the tacho on

(electrically the car is a mess - never buy a petrol -> diesel converted car unless you do it yourself!! wires everywhere)

i found that between the bellhousing and transmission looked different than my other hj60 or my mates hj47 and the the spot where the tacho sender is completely missing. Are there any other clutches makes that fit into a 2H/H55f combo neatly and could explain this difference. Or could it be an 80 gearbox with some weird conversion between 2H and gearbox.

Im at a loss.

if it's cast al with no tacho hole it's probably an early HJ47 maybe 1980?
