i need a engineer

Post by MQSWBUTE »

im looking for a enginnering jonit in melbourne that can make me a fitting like this

adaptor flange
Image

i need a adaptor flange so i can fit a butterfly throttle body into the turbo setup (becuase turbo sd motors run off the injector jump)

its been tested and works well i have the butterfly throttle body sitting infront of me and also the turbo inlet manifold so im sure a enginnering jonit can work out measurements ... will also need a tapped hole to suit a blow off valve

and help in finding a good enginner would be great

cheers justin

WTF do you want a blow off valve or a butterfly in a diesel system?

i am sure the butterfly would taste great, but the motor would have some digestive issues swallowing the whole thing at once. Big four stroke motorbikes have push pull cables to help counteract the effects of vacuum on the slide. I think a butterfly would be nothing more than a restriction on a diesel - without the associated fitting / digestive issues

i dont have the turbo injector pump so i have to use the butterfly it does not change the power between the factory sd33t and a sd33 with turbo setup like i want

when the butteryfly shuts during gear changes it will need to vent

its all noise bov waste of time and money unless you got a petrol turbo thats plumbed back

Go the whole hog & fit 3 rice burner BOV's, that way u can play a musical tune whilst cranking yourself when you see 30 psi on the boost guage!!!

I'm with bru21, the butterfly would taste great.
