I believe that the the cutout corners at the tread-edge are designed
to allow the tyre to fold at low presure at this critical piont. Heavy luged
tyres usually get heaps of sidewall bulge to gain traction. Maxxis are
trying to think outside the square, asin the Creepy, the tread is
designed to flex and gain traction rather than an open sidewall.
I can get prices next week, but you'll have to be sitting down
when you log in!!!!!!!!
The 37's are about low $700's
I sell Maxxis........call 03 9737 0600......Dave.

Been running the 37" Trepadors for about 6 months now. I have run them in 3 comps and numorous play weekends, and the more I use them the better they seem to get. In comparison to the Creepy, I think they are a step ahead in all conditions. Feel totally different to the Creepy's, for they have a much more flexible sidewall, and the sidebitters really work well. Only recommended for offroad use for they are too soft to run on the streets.
We will have to see if we can get a set on Roctoys buggy, to find out how they perform compared to a full bodied rig like mine.
