Ok it not in any gear and it wont budge. Any ideas what to do.

I’m going to pull it out tomorrow, how do I get the shifter shaft out?

is it still in the same configuration i mean
pull down for high shift to the right and up for nuetral then up angain for low or is it all over the shop.....

Have a look but really it should be a quick fix thing

Oldest suzuki trick in the book.

Its probably the shifter sheet,
take off the gear boot
take off shifter boot down below.
take shifter out by pressing down and swearing and then turning the cap down and around to release the stick.
take out stick
replace poly sheet thing under it.
buy sheet from suzuki gen or ebay.

have you tryed going reverse for a bit to losen the gears up then getting it out that way has worked for me a few times

Thats from windup, locking up usually is when the shaft drops into the selector forks.

Awesome, I think that sounds like the go. Can't wait for the swearing, as I loose my temper very very qik. :lol:

Well got it all out with out a problem. Didn’t need a new bush, just a dam good clean out, re grease and the back together.
It was easer to just take the T/case out. Found the drive shaft bearings were destroyed so changing them, then should be ok again.

Yep thats how they were shaped, filled it with marine grease, smooth as silk now.

Had the same problem... bastard of a thing to happen an not know whats going on..... lol.

suzispares has the seat/rubber bit.. was 13 buks off memory...

but if grease is all it took! :cool:
