Hi there,
does any one hav e any expierences with tuning-chips for the RR 4.6 equiped with the THOR efi-system?
And although are there any expierences with power gains in conjunction with the K&N 57i system ( cold air )

I believe Uni-Chip do one for the bosch injected cars.... not sure what the users experience have been in this particular case, but UniChip in general seem to have good reviews.

As far as 'cold air' systems go, I probably wouldn't bother. If its a foam type filter, don't waste your time, as they don't filter much at all. The only thing I'd suggest is either a snorkel (Can you get them for P38s???), or setting up a duct from the intake of the airbox to somewhere in the airstream (say down in the front bar). That second option is only useable on a road only car, as otherwise you will suck up mud and water.

Thanx for the reply, but as the car is used mainly in Germany for some undusty offroading, highwaycruising and horsetrailer pulling, a snorkel is not necessary.
The Landy in my avatar is a 4.6 also, but with edelbrock, k&n etcetc, this will get a snorkel next year before it is shipped to AFRICA.
