Bogged is right, take it back, may be simple(ish)

Any other cheap truck yo buy is going to have problems, they may not be obvious when you buy it, but at least you know what is wrong with your truck, so buy a shitbox corolla or something to go to work, and fix what you got, make it what you want it to be...

that, sir, is the smartest thing you have ever said on this board. let the pootroll go. sell it to a wrecker. drive it into a lake. set fire to it. cut and run.

if you can't afford the superb 80, buy a trashy one. the last thing you will have with an 80 is cooling system issues.

sometimes it feels so much better to simply cut your losses and move on.

they say "better the devil you know" but what you have seems to be far more sinister than the devil.

nothing worse than driving a vehicle that you have lost complete faith in and praying it wont let you down "today".

whatever the outcome i hope its what makes you happy.

IF IT DOESNT, CUT IT DOWN

Is it actually loosing any coolant? Can you see any coolant leaking between the cyl head and block? When i rebuilt my TD42, there was no mention about not being able to re-use cyl head bolts, but i ended up replacing them anyway. Have the head bolts been re-torqued yet?
