King/OME part numbers...

Post by harvey »

... regarding the springs are they the same?

I ask as my local 4x4 outlet only has OME 20mm lift springs but I want 40-50mm lift springs. The Kings Catalogue has the part number and my local 4x4 outlet stocks OME items... hence my question.

Thanks
Harv.

OME springs are made by Kings in QLD. OME shocks are made by Monroe but apperently different valving as per OME. Get Kings as they are heaps cheaper. Order them from someone like Autobarn when they have a sale on. You can get them in heights up to 7". People will say that Kings aren't a true x" lift, that they are about an inch to half and inch shorter than everyone elses. Yet to see that with my own eyes. Have used them on everything for years. Wifes cars and mine.

thanks for the help mate. I'm based in the Uk though so getting to autobarn a tad difficult for me

Its interesting to read what you say re:shorter springs as well as your positive feedback.

Thanks once again

What vehicle are the springs you are looking for to suit?

they're actually for a 96 NJ Paj. But as from past experience the most communicative/busy part of outerlimits is the Nissan forum i thought i'd ask the question within this area. Hope no one minds.
