lpg turbo tb42

Post by viperguy »

ok guys.. taking the plunge and gathering up parts for turboing of my tb42. i will be using garrett t3/t4 turbo, cusom made exhaust manifold, will be front mount intercooling. i have a 450 ohg gas throttle body set up at the moment and was wondering if this lends it self to blow through turboing? have read a few of the build ups on here saying draw through is a time bomb waiting to happen so wont go that way. if my ohg wont work, what other systems do u recommend? gas research dont reccomend blow through for their set ups. also i wanna keep my existing custom made snorkel. will this be possible? any info or contacts for guys who have successfully completed this conversion will be much appreciated. cheers steve

gas reasearch will work well as a blow threw, you just need a installer who know what they are doin. the gut at gas research told me that 95% of the problems are from people that dont know what theyre doin.
