I put the patrol springs under my NG wagon and got a lift of almost 5 inches. Then wound up the torsion bars and cut the bump stops and got around 3.5 inches at the front.

I have done this ages ago and have had no probs whatsoever.

Have also removed both swaybars.

Recently replaced all shocks, but not initially. Only did so because she didn;t pass pink slip.

cheers

I have had no probs at all. I did have a prob when rego come coz of having no sway bars anymore. I just replaced the shocks as they were stuffed anyways, and they fixed most of the body roll so he passed it without the sway bars.

So go ahead and do the mod! U'll be very happy! I am!!

Do the tyres rub at all? Inside guard on turning/compression?
I have 33x12.5 on my triton with 2" body lift, and I had to do alot of hammering in order to stop the rubbing.

your first drive of camp road was amazing u didn't stop at all u just drove up, but it seemed to get progressivly worse from there second run took a bit longer and the third run we had to snatch u out due to ur clutch. but a good effort :D
