I haven't done it personally, but i know a guy in our club that did it to his TB42 on gas to give it a better idle speed of around 500RPM without missing, it also improved the power output quite a bit, took it for a run, was awesome.

I enquired once at an engine shop about my old rb30 powered patrol, and the guy advised me to have my own cam reground, as they were a bit hard to come by for the rb30's. Don't know how true that is though considering how many modified Skylines and VL commodores are getting around.

Give Wade cams a call in Melbourne. They know their stuff and have used them on a few engines in the past but not on my tb42....yet.
