G'day guys,
I grabbed some suspension components off an old rangie at a wreckers a while back for a project. I forgot to look at the year of the truck. I believe it would have been late 70's early 80's.
I need to replace the rear lower control arm bushes at the chassis end. They are a triangle shaped piece of steel with a rubber bush on each side. Three bolts attaching them.
Does anyone know if this part number has changed over these year models? or are they all likely to be the same?
anyone know any good online stores I can order these from?
thanks

Rear control arm bush from an old rangie
Moderator: Micka
As has been already said, there are two types - if you have trailing arms with the 15/16 nut on the end, they are early type (smaller hole through the centre of the bush, slightly closer spacing for the 3 mounting bolts), and the 30mm nut on the trailing arm is later type (same as disco?)
84 Rangie, 3 inch spring lift, 2 inch body, Megasquirted 4.6, R380, rear Maxi, 34x11.5 JT2s. Simex FM installed.
