im doing an engine swap in my MU and just wondering what needs to be done to accomodate this successfully in the area of fuel tank & lines ?
obviously the fuel lines/fuel tank need to be cleaned so they can be used with petrol or am i needing to get all new lines and new tank?
is there anything else i need to be aware of when going from diesel to petrol in the area of fuel issues ?
thanks

Diesel/Petrol conversion... tank & lines ???
the police never find it as funny as i do!
I know when going from carby to EFI petrol you need a new tank and line to suit the EFI engine, dunno about diesel though.
I'd get the tank taken out and cleaned really well... maybe even get it done professionally.. could save hassles later down the track.
Also, for engineering purposes, do you need to install a new fuel filler which can only accomodate the smaller ULP size fuel nozzle?? Just a thought.

Simple answer .... yes
Filler neck must be changed to suit fuel type.
