Redrilling springs or perches ?

Post by CWBYUP »

Hey all

Just about to move the diffs on the zuk for a bit more clearance.

Was wondering what was better to redrill, the springs or the perches ?

Trying to move front foward and rear back about an 20mm each.

Cheers Nick

perch for sure. Or you could by relocation plates that do the same thing but with out the drilling. I know snake make them for 75's dont know about zuks. ring them and find out.

most relocation plates have inbuilt castor correction to i beleive.
as moving even 20mm can fork the castor noticeably on a curved spring

Perches for sure - but the real best option is to move the mounts on the chassis. Just remember that the further you move the axle away from the centre of the spring, the less travel you will have.
