Thanks for all the help guys not sure if I will take camper or not a lot of mixxed reports on how it will go.

Also took the camper away this week end when we got home checked the wheels and they were heaps cooler that the front wheels on the car. this was after 1hr of towing at 100kph.

If you're gonna tow on the beach, try and go light in the trailor and let the tyre pressures out of the trailor tyres.

I took it out to boat harbour on the weekend and it went great didnt let tyres down on car and was still heaps capable so going to tkae it up thanks for all the help guys I will let you know when i get back how I went

i got back from a ten day 'fishing' trip on friday.

I presume you are catching the barge from raindow? if so as long as you time low tide you will get around hook point no worries, the inland road is usually bumpy as hell, and camp up around eli creek, if you camp further north take your camper up at low tide dump it on the beach (locked away from traffic) and do a quick recon up and over to see how the conditions are.

i had my camper on 33's at 28psi, and truck 35's at 14psi and got around without any dramas, but the cutting up to indian head is pretty soft and hook point is soft.

We are picking up someone from hervey bay air port so we will be getting on the kingfisher bay resort barge over.
