The wheel bearing sockets an odd size isnt it? like you need a real thin 19mm one or something? can i get these off the shelf at supercheap or somewhere? 88 GQ

no they are a thin walled socket my old mechanic used a chisel so it rules out me ever using a socket at least till i get 2 new nuts. I know they have the right socket thingo on ebay.

The socket for the wheel bearing retaining nuts is 52 mm. There is a thin walled job to suit nissans or you can fit the toyota one on there if you remove the collar out of the hub...
I reckon you may be able to pick one up at supercheap. If not Hobzee sells them on ebay. Search the ebay stores for 'the4wdshop'.

A mate bought one off ebay, they are actually 53 or 54mm from memory.

You have to tighten the lock nut to 180Nm or something.
