Is the 5 speed GQ gearbox the same behind the 4.2 petrol and 4.2 diesel?

just different belhousing because the diesel starter has 3 bolts.

i was told first gear ratio was different

Heard the same as jessie as in the starter has 2 bolts on a petrol but is fine for a diesel Also have been told that one of them has a few more dowel pins that need to be removed?

same i did the engine swap TB42 to a TD42 ... and it bolts straight up
