Vitara Auto and x-fer in a Sierra

Post by fool_injected »

Doing a half cut conversion and was thinking this morning about using the auto (dual transfer ~70:1 crawl) because I have got a bung left knee and heaps of clutch work makes it hurt
Heres a few questions

Q1. I have read that the autos are short. How long is the auto & x-fer compared to the standard 5 speed.
Q2. What will the gearing be like on road. I am running 31s would like to go to 33s
Q3. Should I stop being a Nancy, stick with the manual and sell the auto to get gears for the x-fer

cheers

2> Fark knows
3> Good luck selling the auto as i am still trying to. Stick with the manual

1. It is the jimny auto that is super short definatly not the 4 speed vit (or even the 3 speed for that matter)

2. do the math :finger:

3. you will die with the auto unless you give it away :)
