Post by super zook »

Just wanting to know how much room you guys have between the tyre and the firewall when turning "flexing" ect.. I have read that a 2+2 lift will fit them but want to know buy how much?

thanks

I run 31's on my 99 model and with the torsen bars wound all the way up(no down travel), the only scrubbing i have is on hard right lock the inside of the tyre scrubs on the sway bar

Thats 31x10.5x15 MTR's on 15x7 sunny's with IFS offset

That reminds me must adjust the steering stops on the weekend to stop it

I run 31's on Sunnies on a 98 dual cab.

Slight scrub at full lock - nothing that really annoys me though.

Had to remove the mudflaps.

Slight scrub at mudflaps mounting area under compression.

It all depends on your wheel offset. The more offset the larger the scrub radius will be.

They should fit easy enough with standard height. You may have to toss the front mud flaps away though and if you still rub get out a BF Hammer and smack down the seam in the fire wall where it touches.
I once had 32s on with standard height and it scrubbed lots till I fitted a 40mm body lift.
I now have 35s under her with still just the 40mm lift and a bit of cut and shut  .
